Mike O’Brien, Mayor of Fredericton, New Brunswick, has proclaimed June 22nd, 2017 World Kidney Cancer Day in his city. A short presentation to the Mayor and City Council on how far treatments for kidney cancer have come since 2000, where we are now and the importance of continuing research in this significant and increasing disease was given by Karen Ross, Board Member, Director Maritimes for Kidney Cancer Canada.
